Thank you for your interest in joining The Arts Society Royal Leamington Spa.

Membership entitles you to attend our monthly illustrated lectures, special interest days, day visits and short breaks both in the UK and abroad.  You might also like to take part in our heritage volunteering activities.  More details can be found by clicking on the appropriate menu item.

The subscription for the season from September 2022 to August 2023 is £48.00, plus a one-off registration fee of £5 for new members, totalling £53.00.

To apply for membership please:

You will receive the national Arts Society Magazine four times a year, which includes interesting articles from the arts world.   Your subscription also allows us to support a number of local and regional artistic projects and activities.

Please note that our charitable status enables us to reclaim Gift Aid on members’ subscriptions.  If you are a UK taxpayer and would like The Arts Society to reclaim tax on your subscription, please email our membership secretary for a Gift Aid declaration form.

Guests

We encourage members to bring guests to a lecture and they do not need to be booked in advance although we do ask that all guests register on arrival with the membership secretary (currently Margot Radomska) at her desk which is just inside the main doors as you enter the Spa Centre. There is no fee for a guest attending, although a wholly voluntary, modest donation is always welcome.

The same guest may be invited to a maximum of two lectures in any lecture season (September to July). Guests cannot usually attend Days of Special Interest, Short Break trips or Day visits. Visitors are also welcome to attend our lectures without a member; they are subject to the same ‘two lectures a season’ restriction above and we ask that they also register on arrival with the membership secretary’

If you are already a new member, a lecturer or visitor our meetings are held at the Spa Centre in Royal Leamington Spa and if you are travelling by train to get to Leamington you may this link to Trainline of some help: https://www.thetrainline.com/
